We're Now 'Hyster New Zealand'

We're excited to announce our new trading name 'Hyster New Zealand'.

For seventy-five years Gough Materials Handling has proudly been the local dealer for Hyster materials handling equipment and now we are excited to reflect that in our trading name says General Manager - Transport, Glenn Stapleton.

"Hyster NZ represents the oldest dealership within Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd which also includes TWL, Transpecs, Palfinger New Zealand and Engineering & Plant Services."

"Talking to the team, we all agree that the Hyster NZ brand is something we truly identify with. Our predecessors right through to our current group have carried the Hyster brand proudly since 1945.

"The Hyster characteristics of leadership, strength, dependability and technologically advanced solutions sits as well with us as our valued customers, we'll definitely carry the name proudly" said Glenn.

The Hyster NZ team have been working hard throughout the various levels of the COVID-19 response, including as an essential service.

"Along with all the Kiwis who have made sacrifices during COVID-19, we are very proud and thankful for the commitment and leadership of our team" said Glenn.

"I’d also like to take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to our valued customers and partners. We have all individually faced many challenges over the past months and we extend our encouragement and committed support as we overcome these challenges and realise new opportunities together."

Coming up, the Auckland Hyster NZ team will complete a very busy few months with a permanent move to a new base at Wiri in July.
